With over 20 years’ experience in media, PR, economic development, campaign management and government relations, Craig Turner, The Campaign Coach, has had the privilege of working with a diverse array of federal, state, local, referendum and judicial political campaigns. As President of Momentum Public Affairs, LLC, based in Western New York, Craig has handled public education campaigns and advocacy for some of the highest-profile issues affecting Western New York and Southern Ontario.
Most recently, Craig served as vice president with the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, WNY’s regional chamber of commerce, where he directed the organization’s business development and government affairs efforts. In that role, Craig oversaw the organization’s endorsement and Political Action Committee (PAC) programs, and lobbied regularly in Washington and Albany. Prior to his role at the Partnership, Craig spent several years as press secretary for the Erie County Legislature. Between the Erie County Legislature and the Partnership, Craig became co-owner and marketing director of Stevens Driving School, the oldest driving school in WNY, helping to triple the company’s revenues in the two years he was involved.
Craig holds a B.A. in English from the University at Buffalo. He is active in the Western New York logistics industry, serving as Executive Director of the Buffalo Niagara International Trade Gateway Organization, and on the board of directors for Continental 1. He is also a veteran political consultant, having provided communications direction and execution for over 80 federal, state, local, referendum and judicial political campaigns. Craig founded “The Campaign Coach,” a campaign management and training program for first-time local candidates, in 2015.
